Breakdance meets illusion

After their world hit Red Bull Flying Bach, the urban dance crew Flying Steps is back on stage with a brand new show Red Bull Flying Illusion, touring Germany from March 2014. Red Bull Flying Illusion draws its audience into a fascinating battle between the Good and the Bad. The Flying Steps blurring the boundaries between breathtaking breakdance and the unique power of illusion. In collaboration with the creative studio I AM BERNHARD – the team behind the visual concept – we created a digital campaign for the show. The campaign transfers the look and feel of the key visual into moving image and through animation conveys the feeling of magical illusion. A strong branding achieves a high level of recognition for the show across all channels and emphasizes the important role of Red Bull in this project. All advertising material – from the classic medium rectangle through the pre-roll-tandem wrap up to the facebook ticket shop – leads users to the advance ticket sale on ticketmaster.de. Especially relevant to the event business are geotargeted banners. Hereby, ads are displayed to users – based on their current location – enriched with regional event information. The campaign was already launched in November, right on time for the presale start – but exclusively on ticketmaster.de und facebook. Since end of February the campaign is now live nationwide.
